France in Suriname and Guyana

"Olympic Day" was held on 24 June in Paramaribo’s main Independence Square, in front of the presidential palace. The President of Suriname, Chandrikapersad Santokhi, took part and wished France good luck in its bid to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in the summer of 2024.
